Due to some miscommunication issues, the server address changes have been delayed one day. They’ll be taking place at tomorrow morning (Tuesday, May 16, 2006). I’m looking forward to getting it done finally!

The other morning I upgraded our equipment and everything went pretty smoothly. The only mishap was installing the new userland and forgetting to install the new kernel on one box, which could have caused a lot of problems… Fortunately I was able to correct it pretty quickly. It did give me a nice scare, though. Woops.

I also downloaded a copy of the latest FreeBSD BSDInstaller beta to check it out. Julian Elischer has posted pictures of the various stages on his web page. Here is a direct link to the ISO as announced on FreeBSD-current mailing list in case you’re curious about it.
