A little while back I created a small plugin to monitor CARP states on our firewalls and proxies. It’s very similar to check_pf but simpler since I mostly just use it to make sure I remember to reset advskew when I’m doing maintenance. Works on both OpenBSD 4.2 and FreeBSD 6.3 and FreeBSD 7.
